The Programs
Updated 09/06/22
Every one of our KDX programs has a story. Let me start by telling you
about programs that aren't on KDX. In our pre-stream days I checked the
web for streaming stations and discovered
KPAH,
located in Pahrump, Nevada. More than anything else the novel
programming on this station convinced me that internet radio was
something different and offered a new testament, in a secular manner of
speaking.
The programs on KDX fill two main categories: Talk programs that
range through secular skeptic science topics, news and
humor; and music programs spanning century old popular music to centuries old classical music.
Not all of the programs available to KDX and shown on this Programs Table are currently scheduled.
Some scheduled programs on KDX may not yet be shown on this Program Table.
Category I :
Talk
Allan Weiner Worldwide (not always available) is hosted by the founder, owner and manager of international shortwave

of their radio. The program originates in Monticello, Maine. Webcast on
KDX by direct permission of Allan Weiner.

Blare keeps getting better if you can make it through the part before
that starts happening." And, here's what imaginary people say: "He

too much, really doesn't have much to say, but at least he seems to
enjoy it."and "He takes both sides in the argument and loses both
sides." Leading scientists declare Blare

and it is the mission of PHILOSOPHY TALK to restore some of the

Bamboo Thoughts
It is like leaving the windows open and listening to sounds
outdoors.
It is like deep night in the house with refrigerators humming and
unidentified clicks and bumps.
It has no reminder at all of the talk and ideas that go on all day.
It ignores the emotion and sentiment of all conventional music.
It is like the wallpaper is there and never strives for any more than
being there.
It is the soundtrack to a dream had by anyone.
It is like being somewhere else.
It comes from deep within the bamboo where it's always been.
Bamboo Thoughts
(presently off the air) features ambient style music Saturday nights on KDX.
There's one thing you
can say about bamboo thoughts ---
they grow from very
shallow ground. __ Carl Blare
